Tractivity is an internet based system, which is accessed over the Internet, so there is no need to install software or buy hardware. The only requirement is that you have a Windows-based PC or PDA with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher, it’s as simple as that.

Since there is no software to install, the entire system can be deployed almost instantly across your business. There is no need to buy hardware, software, servers, database licenses, or waste precious IT resources. Tractivity's web-based solution also means that your business stays connected around the country, at local Internet connection rates, which is far less expensive than installing dedicated connection, Citrix server or VPN connections required by client-based software.

Tractivity is designed to run quickly over the Internet because there are no heavy graphics to slow down the application. Still, we recommend at least a 128k connection and obviously the faster connection, the better the response. Tractivity can be operated at slower speeds but we recommend you upgrade to broadband if you are currently using a dialup modem to connect to the Internet. Tractivity can also run over GPRS.

The data transfer process begins with a review of your database structure and a small sample of data. From this we match the current data fields to Tractivity fields. Part of the process includes data cleansing (removal of unwanted, obsolete or incomplete records) and de-duplication. Once you have purchased your version of Tractivity, you are in control as to who is allowed access to your system. Therefore, if you want you give your partners access to Tractivity you can do. Tractivity gives partnerships the opportunity to work together in a way that it is not possible using separate systems, it enables partners to truly work together, share selected information and communicate effectively. Also, as Tractivity is online it can be accessed by all partners wherever and whenever they want.
