Add a new event

The Event module is great for any event you attend or host, whether this is online or in person. To create a new event inside your Tractivity system:

  1. Inside the Events Module, select Add Event from the left-hand menu.
  2. To understand the Add event screen, it's important to understand that the Event invitation has two parts.
  3. An Email Event Invitation, you build the content of the invite, which includes a button titled ‘Please let us know if you can attend.’ 
  4. An Event Response Page will appear once ‘Please let us know you can attend’ is clicked, allowing attendees to confirm their attendance and add any special requests. 
  5. The Add Event Screen is broken down into three sections: Main Detail, Invitation & Website Details & Additional Details
  6. The information highlighted in red automatically populates the Event Response Page

Title, what's your event called?

Start & End Date/Time, the dates and time that the event is taking place

Venue & Postcode, where is your event being held?

Request Special Requirements, allow each attendee to add their own comments in a free text box, from the access or dietary requirements to a quick note.

View all the Event information you have just added on the View Event Screen
