Add or Remove a Search Field

Add or remove a search field from the organisations and contacts screen

Tip - the steps below are applicable to any other modules you wish to add or remove search fields. I.e. Enquiries.

  1. Working from the Organisations and Contacts search screen. The search screen will have a range of search boxes displayed as standard, allowing you to search by specific criteria.
  2. You can add more search fields by clicking the red Settings button
  3. Select what type of search box you wish to add, using the drop-down. First, select from Organisation, Contact, Building, Land Parcel & Survey Search Boxes. 
  4. Click to the right of any Field title using the arrow Add to add a new search box. 
  5. To remove a Field , underneath Selected Fields go to the right of the title, click the cross 
  6. You can also use the Up and Down arrows, to change the order the search fields appear
  7. Finally click the red Save button
