Email Builder - Creating an Event Email Invitation
Create your Event & Add invitees
The first step to this process will be to build your event and add a list of contacts to the invitee list. Once this has been complete, the Email Invitation button will become available for you to select from the left menu.
Check Recipients
This will then take you through to the Event Email Recipients page, where you can check all your recipients are correct. Once happy click next.
Add Event email content
The next page will be the Event Email Content page. Here you can complete the following:
- Subject – The subject of your event invite email that recipients will see
- From email address – This is the email address that the email will be sent from
- From name – This is the name that recipients will see on the email. This can be amended to anything you wish
- Reply to email address – You can set a different email address for any responses to go through to, if a person replies to the initial invite email.
- Event email template type – Here you can choose a template from a previous event, or you can select a template from existing saved templates. You will also have the option to select a blank template.
- Attachments – You can add an attachment to the sent with your event invite
Once you have completed the above, please click next.
Design your Event Invite email
The next step will be to create your event email using a blank or existing template. Please navigate to our help centre for articles and videos on how to create your event email.
**Please note** Always ensure an Accept and Decline link has been added to an event invite email, which will allow your contacts to confirm their attendance.
Once you have completed your event email, make sure to click save, and exit out of the builder, to bring you back to the Event Email content page
Send Test
Click the grey Send Test button to send a test of the event email yourself or a colleague, to make sure you are happy with it.
Send Email
Once you have tested your email and are happy with it, you can send the invite by clicking the red Send Email button. This will send the invite to each of the recipients in your invitee list.
