How to add a user and assign projects
Please note: This section is only available for users with System Admin user permissions
- Click on System Admin on the top right of your screen, go to the Left Hand Menu, click Add User
- Populate the 'Add User' screen, ensuring all mandatory fields with a * are populated. You may wish to decide on a username standard protocol, i.e. asmith or an individual users e-mail address amy.smith@company.co.uk
- Click Ok to save the user details added
- You are now in the View User screen, go to the Halfway Navigation Bar and find the tab 'Unassigned Projects'
- Select from the list of projects which project you are assigning the user to, click on the red name of the project, go to the far right and click the red Assign link
- In the 'Assign Client User' screen, scroll down and look for *Access Profile which is a mandatory field, next using the dropdown select the correct user profile, which for most clients will be Admin ( unless you have created new User Access Profiles). In which case select the appropriate User Access Profile from your dropdown
- Click Save
*Note - upon completing this process your user will receive a 'Welcome to Tractivity' e-mail, upon first logging in the user will be prompted to change their password.
