How to add an email to a contact (contact activity) from Outlook Integration
This article will explain how to add an email activity to an existing contact in your Tractivity system, using the outlook Integration.
- Select and open the email you wish to create in Tractivity, and select the red Tractivity Logo from the top bar.
- Log into the Tractivity add-in via your preferred login method **if you haven’t done this before please see article How to access the Outlook Integration
- Once logged in, the add in screen will give you a summary of the project you are currently viewing – if you have access to multiple projects please select the project you wish to create the activity within.
- Please ensure you have added all the contacts to your Tractivity system that you wish to log this activity against **please see article - How to record new contacts inside of Tractivity from Outlook Integration
- Select the red Create Email Activity button at the top of your outlook add-in screen.
- Select all the contacts, organisations, and any mandatory fields that you want associated with this activity.
- As we are not attaching this activity to an enquiry, please do not complete any details under the Enquiry heading.
- Click the red Save button
- The screen will change and show you a confirmation of the date and time that the activity was saved, and a summary of the contact the activity was saved against.
