How to add an email to an existing enquiry from Outlook Integration
This article will explain how to attach your email activity to an existing enquiry in your Tractivity system, using the outlook integration.
- Select and open the email you wish to create in Tractivity, and select the red Tractivity Logo from the top bar.
- Log into the Tractivity add-in via your preferred login method **if you haven’t done this before please see article How to access the Outlook Integration
- Once logged in, the add in screen will give you a summary of the project you are currently viewing – if you have access to multiple projects please select the project you wish to create the activity within.
- Please ensure you have added all the contacts to your Tractivity system that you wish to log this activity/enquiry against **please see article - How to record new contacts inside of Tractivity from Outlook Integration
- Select the red Create Email Activity button at the top of your outlook add-in screen.
- Select all the contacts, organisations, and any mandatory fields that you want associated with this enquiry.
- If you scroll down slightly you will see an Enquiry heading and it will automatically have most recent enquiries listed below Enquiry title. However, you can also select from specific account handlers, Enquiry Titles and Date received.
- Find the existing enquiry and tick the box next to it to indicate you would like to attach the email to it.
- Click the red Save button at the bottom.
- The screen will change and show you confirmation that the activity has been added, and a breakdown of the enquiry it has been added to.
