Tractivity v23.3.1 - New Release Notes

The following is a list of improvements, bug fixes and miscellaneous updates that will be part of the upcoming release, to be deployed on Tuesday, 26th September, at 11 pm 2023.

Improvements

• Distribution List Activities
  Inside the distribution lists module, when adding an activity, add a yellow note advising that the activity will not be logged against each stakeholder and simply for their records.
• Email fields accept “&” character
  Email fields throughout the system now support the & character as part of the email address.
• Smart Inbox
  Received Date, Subject and From columns are now sortable.
• System Data Fields
  Enquiry > Account Handler can now be turned on or off
• Surveys > View Survey
  The "View Copy" link for the Survey URL has been separated into two lines to prevent user confusion that this could be seen as one single URL, and not two separate URLs
• Add / Edit / View Activity
  “Related Contacts” renamed to “Associated Contacts” (This has also been updated in all relevant reports.)
• X (Twitter)
  Change the Twitter Logo (Bird) to the new X Logo in Smart Mailer email template footers.
• Email Duplication Check
  Clients can optionally turn off the email duplication check on a system-wide basis by contacting their client manager. This would allow clients to send multiple emails to the same email address for mailshots/emails.
• Data Import Duplication Logic
  Improvements to the data duplication logic will help to ensure client data is imported as accurately as possible.
• All Enquires By Status Report
  Added Enquiry Status Changed Date and Enquiry Created Date. Clients can now see when the Enquiry Status was last changed in this report.

• BUG FIX – JFIF Images
  Image attachments with JFIF format not imported
• BUG FIX – Associated Organisations field
  The Associated Organisation(s) field in Contact Activities screen was mandatory.
• BUG FIX – Smart Inbox
  When a user accesses the home page, Smart Inbox connects to the Pop3 box and downloads new emails. If two users hit the home page within the time it takes to download emails one of them will experience an error.
• BUG FIX - Clone Activity
  When a user attempts to clone an activity, the project dropdown in the clone popup is empty.
• BUG FIX – Issues Module / View Contact
  When the issues module is off, the enquiries tab was still displaying the Issues column – this should be hidden
• BUG FIX – User address bug
  Certain postcodes/flats causing a Latitude & Longitude error
• BUG FIX – System data import – Error message when importing System Data to a new project
• BUG FIX –Global System Data
  The County field was not editable by admin users.
• BUG FIX - Admin: Share Stakeholders
  During the search and filtering of Contacts, the filter disappears and the user is forced to refresh the page to retrieve the list of contacts
• BUG FIX – Home Screen Dashboard - Activity Figures
  The total number of activities was not equal to the output of the “All Activities” report
• BUG FIX – Email fields
  Email fields throughout the system were not trimming whitespace, which could cause errors when users copy and paste emails with spaces.

  If setting up a reminder on activities, the End By date was allowing non-valid dates.

Other Updates

• Authentication
  If a login fails due to IP address restriction, then log this in the SQL FailedLoginRequests table
• Login
  Record the logged-in user’s IP address in tblSession SessionData xml.
