What is a mandatory field and where are they located on Tractivity?

A mandatory field is a field that must contact data.

Making a field mandatory will affect your data imports. So, for example you could be looking to capture first names, telephone number or an email address.

A mandatory field should always have an asterisk symbol next to it and for or anyone that is unsure of what an asterisk looks like, it’s the star symbol on your keyboard *

You will see mandatory fields when you go to add an Organisation and a Contact in Tractivity. 

If you do go head and try and save without the mandatory fields being completed, then you will receive a message on your screen, outlining the fields that need to be completed. 

Please note the visible mandatory fields can be updated to suit your requirements.
