New Email Builder - Content Tab - Video

The Video content block can be used to include a link to a video within your Event Invite email, including a preview image too.

• You can find the video content block under the Content tab, in the right-hand menu. Drag this over and place it where you would like your video to be placed in the email.
• Click on the Video content block, and you will see a new menu appear on the right-hand side, called “Content Properties”. Enter the address for your video in the ‘URL’ field. Please note: the builder only supports YouTube and Vimeo video links at this time.
• You can change the title for your video in the ‘Title’ field. The title will default to the title of the video on YouTube or Vimeo, but you can change this if you wish. The title will appear as alt text when hovering your mouse cursor over the preview image.
• New options will now be available to you after entering a video address. You can change the look of the “play icon” that appears in the centre of the preview image; just choose the one that best suits your email's look. Similarly, you can change the colour of the play icon, and you can also change its size to be larger or smaller.
• You can increase or decrease the amount of empty space in the content block with the “Padding” option, under “Block Options”. This may make your preview image appear smaller in the email, as the image will shrink to accommodate the added space around it.
• Finally, you can choose to hide the video content block when viewing the email on either mobile or desktop. Click on either the phone or desktop icon to set this setting.
