New Email Builder - Desktop/Mobile View - Hide Content

Desktop View vs Mobile View for your Mailshots

 

 

  1. Desktop View
    Desktop View allows you to view a Mailshot as it will appear when opened on a Desktop.

  2. Mobile View
    Mobile View allows you to view a Mailshot as it will appear when opened on a Mobile Phone.

  3. Changing between Desktop View and Mobile View
    In the top left corner of the Mailshot builder, you will have a Desktop symbol and a Mobile symbol. You can change between Desktop and Mobile view by selecting these symbols.

 

Hiding content within one view but not another view

  1. Choose View
    Select the view you wish to hide the content from, Desktop View or Mobile View.

  2. Select Content
    Click on the content you want to hide to open the ‘Content Properties’ tab.

  3. Content Properties
    Once you have opened the Content Properties tab, scroll to the end of the tab to see the ‘Hide on’ option.

  4. Hide On
    Click on the Desktop symbol to hide the content from Desktop View.
    Click on the Mobile symbol to hide the content from Mobile View.

  5. Visibility
    In the top left corner of the Mailshot builder, you will have an eye symbol. You can change between:
    - Visibility On: This will allow you to see the hidden content in the opposite view (it will appear blurred out. For example, you will see hidden content ‘blurred out’ on Mobile View in the Desktop View.
    - Visibility Off: This will allow you to hide the hidden content completely.

 

*This is for your view only. If you turn Visibility On, this will not appear in the Mailshot sent to stakeholders*
