Overview of the new mailshot builder

1. Find the new mailshot builder by entering the Mailshot module and either create new mailshot, or create a new mailshot template. (If you have previously created a mailshot/template, then you can ‘edit’)

2. In the builder, you will find that your screen splits into two. The mailshot/preview is on the left hand side, whereas the content blocks, rows and settings are on the right hand side in separate tabs.

3. You can set your brand guidelines and mailshot width (px) within the Settings tab. It’s recommended to set this prior to building the mailshot, but you can change this at anytime.

4. Drag and drop ‘Rows’ you need into the mailshot builder, Rows are used to structure your mailshot. You can use 1 row or many - depending on the kind of information and layout you want for your mailshot/newsletter.

5. Using the ‘Content blocks’ in the Content tab, drag and drop the content you want to use into the mailshot builder. You can use an unlimited number of blocks to build your mailshot, from text to images, or even Gifs.

6. You can make changes to your mailshot by clicking into the content blocks, the right hand side will then show different edit options within different content blocks. You can also choose to ‘undo’ or ‘delete’ any changes/blocks/rows at anytime.
