Radio Button Questions
Radio Button questions can be a really useful way of adding a multi-answer question to your survey. This article will cover the different ways you can use a Radio Button.
- From the Edit/Add Survey Questions screen click Add a question.
- Once the new question has been added, select the question type dropdown, and select Radio Buttons. This will change your question to a Radio Button question type.
- Type your question in the Add a Question title
- You can choose to add a question description if required.
- Select the red Add/Edit options This will bring up a text box.
- Type each of your answers in the text box, and be sure to type each answer on its own separate line. Once you are happy select Save Options.
- This will have added each of your options as its own separate answer for participants to select from.
Adding an ‘Other’ selection
- You can also give respondents the ability to select an ‘Other’ option, if their answer isn’t included in the list. Which will allow them to free type their answer.
- Select the Add ‘Other’ option.
- Add additional ‘Other’ question text if required, and select if you would like to give respondents a short or long text answer.
Make your question Mandatory
- Select the Required tick box if you want to make this question mandatory.
Once you have created your checkbox question, you can select Save and Preview to see how it looks in the survey.
