Tractivity v23.4 - New Release Notes

The last release of 2023 brings improvements to the Events module

On December 28th 2023, Tractivity was updated to version 23.4. This is the last major update of the year and brings new additions to the Events module, as well as some minor bug fixes.

Improvements

All of the improvements below relate to the Events Module:

  • Additional Guests
    Invitees can now add additional guests on the Event Invite Confirmation page (this option is configurable per event in the Event Registration section).
  • Event Sign-In Sheet
    This now outputs each additional guest name.
  • Event Name Badges
    Now outputs a separate badge for each additional guest 
  • Max Guest Quantity 
    This can also be specified per event (also in the Event Registration section) 
  • Invite Reason
    This is a new field that can be enabled on a per project basis in System Admin. If enabled, users will need to enter an Invite Reason when adding invitees to an event. This field can be exported via the Invitation Status List CSV export.
  • "Edit" Column
    The old “Status” column on the Invited Contacts grid has been renamed to “Edit” due to users having additional options to edit an invitation (e.g. Invite Reason can also be added/edited here).
  • Event Groups
    Event group name is now visible in the Invited Contacts grid (if Event Groups is enabled).

Additionally, one improvement has been made to the Reports module:

  • Remove "Owner Teams" permissions from all Exago reports
    Previously if records such as Activities or Enquiries were set to only have an “Owner Team” of a specific user, then if other Tractivity users would run a report, the report would not show those records because they were being filtered by Owner Teams. This filter has been removed, so now reports will output ALL records regardless of the Owner Teams settings of individual records. 

Bug fixes

  • SmartMailer Mailshot Error 
    A fix to increase the message size of SOAP requests which was causing some email mailshots to fail.
  • Export Stakeholder Mapping Issue
    If a stakeholder mapping export had a sheet with a name above a certain amount of characters, it would be corrupted. Long sheet names are now truncated automatically to fix this.
  • All Enquiry Activities Between Dates
    Certain enquiries were missing from this report when exported by the client. This was related to the Owner Teams issue (see Improvement above) which has also resolved this issue.
