Tractivity v25.2 - Release Notes
February's update addresses bugs across the whole of Tractivity
This update was released on Tuesday 25th February 2025. If you have any questions about this update, please contact your Customer Success Manager at customersuccess@tractivity.co.uk.
Improvements
- Users - New 'API Interaction' field
This new field captures the last time a User interacted with Tractivity via the Tractivity API. Currently, this only relates to Users using the Outlook add-in. This field will also appear in User Reports, giving a greater sense of how Users are using Tractivity.- This change is scheduled to be released in a hotfix shortly after v25.2 releases.
Bug Fixes
- Organisations and Contact - Large exports from search results
Several users reported not receiving exports from the Organisations and Contacts module. This was found to be due to the size of these files. A notice has now been added when attempting to export a file from this module with more than 200 rows. For large exports of your Organisations and Contacts, please use our Reports module. - Organisations and Contact - Certain filters leading to crashes on export
Using certain fields to filter search results was found to cause a crash when the user went to export the search results. Exports should now work correctly (if under 200 rows large). - Organisations and Contact - "Account Group" column
During testing, it was found that this column appeared blank in the search results, even if an Organisation or Contact were assigned to an Account Group. Account Groups will now display inside this column correctly. - Activities - "Forward Email" option vanishing
Email Activities within a Shared Mailbox would include a "Forward Email" option, however once assigned to a Contact, this option would disappear. We have updated this so that the option remains available. - Mailshots - Displaying clicks in Mailshot Statistics
When viewing Mailshot Statistics, the order of clicks could only display from lowest to highest. This has been fixed so you can view from highest to lowest as well. - Events - Invitation Status List CSV missing details
When the "Invitation Status List" .csv document was generated, this was found to be missing certain fields connecting to the invited Contacts. This has been corrected so all information displays as intended. - Events - Invitation Status List showing incorrect statistics
A User had noticed that the percentage figures for attendance levels in the "Invitation Status List" document did not add up correctly. This has been corrected to show the correct percentages. - Events - Delay in marking attendance
Events with large numbers of invitees were found to experience lag when marking invitees as attended. This now functions at a reasonable speed. - Events - Organisation and Postcode not linking to registrants
This issue occurred in the Event registration form, for invitees not currently in the system as a Contact, when asked to provide an Organisation name and/or a postcode. The Organisation would be created but it would not link to the new Contact. Similarly, the postcode would not be registered against the new Contact. This has been corrected so the new Contact is created, and then linked to the new Organisation and their postcode. - Events - Microsoft Teams joining links
Calendar files for online events set up through Microsoft Teams did not contain the instructions to manually join the meeting, affecting any users with limited access to external links. These calendar files now include manual joining details for Teams meetings. - Surveys - "Contact Category" question
If you set up a Survey to accept anonymous responses, but had previously set the "Display Contact Category" option to 'Yes', the Contact Category question would continue to appear at the end of Surveys. This bug fix changes this so that allowing for Anonymous Responses automatically switches off the "Display Contact Category" option. - Surveys - Bullet point list formatting
On the Engage 360 portal, the introduction to a survey experienced an issue where text following a bullet point list would shrink in size. This has been corrected so the intended formatting is used instead. - Issues - 'Survey Response Reference'
Issues logged against Surveys were displaying across multiple lines; they will now display across just one line. - Reports - HTML displaying in reports
Several reports were displaying the "Contact ID" and "Associated Contact ID" fields as HTML code instead of easily-readable information. This has been corrected. - Reports - Sub Project filters
Any reports that included a Sub Project filter would display the list of Sub Projects incorrectly, included missing some Sub Projects altogether. This has been corrected. - System Admin - Crashes when viewing Teams
Attempting to view a Team within a Project inside the System Admin pages resulted in a crash. This has been corrected. - Outlook add-in - Email Activity Type
Any emails logged to Tractivity using the Outlook add-in were given the Activity Type "Email Received". This included any emails sent by the user. This has been corrected so that any outgoing emails are logged as "Email Sent". - Outlook add-in - Email attachment name
An issue with full stops in an attachment's name resulted in the Outlook add-in experiencing crashes. This has now been fixed.
