Calendar Activities
Add Activites directly to your calendar
Please note: This article reflects changes being introduced to Tractivity as part of the software's major modernisation update. This update is being rolled out to users from December 2025 onwards.
The Calendar module will display all Activities from your Tractivity system, including Contact, Organisation, Enquiry and Events Activities. If you want to add a note or occasion directly to the Calendar, you can also create a Calendar Activity. The guide below explains how to create a Calendar Activity and how to view the Activity afterwards.
Adding a Calendar Activity
- Go to the Calendar
- Click on Add Calendar Activity from the left-hand menu.
- Complete the form on the next page. Fill in any mandatory fields (marked with an * asterisk) and click Save at the end.
The Add Calendar Activity form will vary depending on how you have configured your system. Users with System Admin access will be able to configure this form to include or remove fields or change options in drop-down lists.
After creating your Activity, you will go to the View Activity page for your new Calendar Activity. Here you can review the details and make any changes. You can also attach any supporting documents to the Activity, using the Add Attachment pane.
Viewing the Calendar Activity
The Activity can only be viewed in the Calendar module. It will appear in the calendar on the day or days of its Start Date and End Date. You can see an overview of the Activity by clicking on its calendar tile; you can then click the View Details option to see the Activity in full.
