Calendar Filters

Handy filters to focus on relevant entries

Please note: This article reflects changes being introduced to Tractivity as part of the software's major modernisation update. This update is being rolled out to users from December 2025 onwards.

Filters are a great tool to highlight the entries that matter most to you on your Tractivity Calendar. Three filters are available for you to use with your Calendar.

Once you have selected your filters, press the red Filter button to apply the filters to your calendar. Filters will not apply automatically. Press Reset to remove any filters and return to the Month view.

Activity Type

This filter changes what kind of Activities are displayed on the Calendar. All types of Activities can appear on the Calendar, and you can use this filter to show one or more of the following:

  • Contact: An Activity recorded against an individual stakeholder.
  • Organisation: An Activity recorded against a stakeholder group.
  • Building: An Activity associated with an address.
  • Enquiry: Any Activities recorded against an Enquiry. (Individual Enquiries cannot be selected for this filter.)
  • Distribution List: An Activity recorded against a Distribution List.
  • Calendar: Any Activities created directly in the Calendar Module.

Allocated To

For best results, use the Project Activities view when using this filter.

This filter allows you to display Calendar entries associated with particular Users and Account Handlers. The drop-down list will also let you filter by Teams in your current Project. You can select multiple options from this list, so if you want to see all Activities associated with specific colleagues, give this filter a go.

Activity Status

The Activity Status filter will allow you to choose between Completed or Pending Activities, Surveys and Events. This is useful if you want to remove any resolved or concluded stakeholder engagement work from your view.

Event Filters

Additional filters are available if you are displaying Events:

  • Event Type: Filter Event entries using the four different Event Types: ‘Face-to-Face Event’, ‘Online Event – MS Teams’, ‘Online Event – Other’ and ‘External Event’.
  • Event Administrator: Only display Events managed by a particular User or Users.
