Changing your Calendar view

Change what appears on your calendar with ease

Please note: This article reflects changes being introduced to Tractivity as part of the software's major modernisation update. This update is being rolled out to users from December 2025 onwards.

When you open the Calendar module, your calendar will display the current month, along with any Activities associated with you. You can use the different Calendar options to change this view, include more entries and see the stakeholder engagement work happening across your organisation.

Calendar Settings

The settings will change the scope of what appears on your calendar. By default this will be set to My Activities – any Activities that you created or that you are set as an Account Handler for. You can expand this to display more Calendar entries using the options below:

  • Team Activities: Any Activities associated with any Teams you are a part of. This includes the default Team for your current Project, which most Users will typically be assigned to when assigned a Project.
  • Project Activities: All Activities within the current Project. If your system only has one Project, this will display all Activities across your system.

There are two extra options: Events and Surveys. If you check either of these, Events and Surveys respectively will appear on your Calendar. The settings above apply to these too, so if you want to see Events managed by other members of your team, make sure you have chosen the correct setting.

Calendar Views

You can set the calendar to show the following timeframes:

  • Month: The default view, showing the whole calendar month.
  • Week: Displaying from Sunday to Saturday.
  • Work Week: Displaying the week from Monday to Friday, ignoring the weekends.
  • Day: Shows a single day.

You can change this view to look at future or past entries using the arrows next to the date, in the top-left corner of your screen. You can also click on the date to display a drop-down menu, where you can select a month or day to jump to.

Today

The Today option, appearing next to the other Calendar views described above, will jump to the current day. If you are looking at the weeks or months ahead, this will bring you back to the present quickly. The view will remain the same – so if you were looking at December, and it is currently July, pressing Today will return you to viewing July. Similarly, if you were looking at a specific week in December, pressing Today will display the current week.

Agenda

This option displays all Calendar entries in a list. You can use to remove any blank days in your calendar and just see what you have coming up. The list will reflect the views and filters you were using prior to clicking on Agenda; you can change these to add or remove entries from your agenda.
