Cloning an Event

How to create a copy of an existing Event

Have you delivered a successful event? Are you looking to run the event once more? Tractivity’s event cloning option makes it easy to take a previous event and run it again with minimal fuss.

 

 

Please note: you can only clone an Event within the same Project. Events cannot be cloned or shared across Projects.

To clone an Event, go to the View Event page for the original Event. From the left-hand menu, click the option named Clone Event. This will take you through to the ‘Clone Event’ form.

This form is similar to the form used when adding a new Event. However, many of the fields will be pre-filled with information taken from your original Event. This includes the Event’s title and its time and date; you will likely want to change these, so be sure to do so before saving your new Event.

Once you have completed the form with any changes you would like to make, click Save at the bottom of the form to create your new Event.
