Email Builder - Content Tab - Images

Enhance your emails with vibrant images

Images can be added into your emails with ease. These can also be saved for future use. This article explains how to use Image content blocks in your emails.

On the Content tab, drag and drop the Image content block into your email, where you would like the image to appear. If you want to change the image layout and have text on one side, you’ll need to select the correct row prior to adding the content block.

Choosing your image

Click the Browse button on the Image content block. This will open the Email Builder's File Manager. Here, you can select images uploaded to the File Manager previously - just click Insert to add your desired image to the Image content block.

You can also add new images to the File Manager. You can see a button in the top left hand corner of the File Manager labelled Upload. Clicking this will open your device's file browser; select an image saved to your device to add to the File Manager. You can then select this image by clicking Insert.

Adjusting your image

Click on the Image content block to open the Content Properties tab on the right hand side of the Email Builder. Once you have opened the Content Properties tab, you have multiple options to adjust your image:

  • Change the width of the image. You will need to toggle Auto-width off to adjust the width.

  • Align the position of the image.

  • Add a URL to the image, sending recipients to this address if the image is clicked on
  • Add alt text to your image. This helps partially-sighted recipients understand what the image is showing.
  • Add padding to the Image content block. You can adjust the padding to give it the dimensions you prefer.

  • Hide the image on either desktop or mobile view.

You can insert an unlimited number of images, in any way you would like; whether this be for a header, an image to the side of some text or a row of images.
