How to use your Calendar
Add Activities, navigate the Calendar and export your agenda
Please note: This article reflects changes being introduced to Tractivity as part of the software's major modernisation update. This update is being rolled out to users from December 2025 onwards.
The Tractivity Calendar module is a great way to keep track of your stakeholder engagement work. It displays all Activities across your Tractivity system, as well as Surveys and Events. If you want to see what’s coming up in the next week, month or year, the Calendar module is the place to go.
Calendar Views
The settings on the left-hand side of the Calendar control which Activities appear:
- My Activities: Shows any Activities where you are an Account Handler.
- Team Activities: Shows any Activities where a Team you are in has been set as an Account Handler.
- Project Activities: Displays all Activities within the current Project.
You can also display Events and Surveys by checking their respective checkboxes. This will display any Events or Surveys that are live in that time period, depending on the filters set above.
Changing the date
When you open the calendar, it will display the current month. You can change this using the options at the top-right of the calendar:
- Day: shows a day.
- Week: shows a calendar week (Sunday to Saturday)
- Work Week: shows Monday to Friday.
- Month: displays a whole month.
You also have an option named Today. This will return you to today’s date, with the display matching the one of the four display options above.
For example: if today’s date is July 3rd, and you are currently viewing a week in August, clicking “Today” will display the current week. For another example, if you are viewing December, clicking “Today” will display the month of July.
The last display option is the Agenda. You can open this by clicking on the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the Calendar. This will display all entries on your Calendar in a list, based on which of the four date options you were last viewing.
The arrows at the top of the window will change to the next or previous day, week, work week or month. You can also jump to a specific date using the drop-down calendar; just click on the date at the top of the Calendar to open this.
Calendar Filters
The filters allow you to display only the Activities, Events and Surveys that are relevant to you. You can filter by the following Activity fields:
- Activity Type: Contact Activity, Enquiry Activity, and so on – what the Activity has been recorded against.
- Allocated To: The Account Handler assigned to an Activity (or Administrator for Events)
- Activity Status: Choose between Pending or Completed Activities/Events/Surveys.
After selecting your filters, press the Filter button to apply these to your Calendar. You can press Reset to remove the filters and return to the default view.
Exporting Calendar Entries
You can find a list of all visible entries on your Calendar (Activities, Events and Surveys) at the bottom of the Calendar module. This list includes the key details of each entry, and you can click on the name of these entries to open them up in full.
All entries on this list can be exported as a CSV file. Just click the Export Details button at the top of the list. This will download the CSV file straight to your device.
