Overview of the Email Builder (for Mailshots)

Find the Email Builder by entering the Mailshot module, and either creating a new Mailshot or Mailshot template. (If you have previously created a mailshot/template, then you can ‘edit’ this instead.)

In the builder, you will find that your screen splits into two. The preview of your Mailshot email appears on the left hand side, whereas the Content blocks, Rows and Settings tools are on the right hand side in separate tabs.

You can set your brand guidelines and mailshot width (px) within the Settings tab. It’s recommended to set this prior to building the mailshot, but you can change this at anytime.

Drag and drop any Rows you need into the email builder. Rows are used to structure your mailshot. You can use one Row or many, depending on the kind of information and layout you want for your Mailshot.

Using the Content blocks in the Content tab, drag and drop the content you want to use into the Email Builder. You can use an unlimited number of blocks to build your Mailshot, from text to images and even GIFs.

You can make changes to your Mailshot by clicking on the content blocks. The right hand side of the Builder will display different edit options within different content blocks. You can also undo or delete any changes/blocks/rows at anytime.
