Tags and Mentions in Activities
Keep colleagues in the loop more easily than ever with this useful notification feature
You can now tag fellow Users in Activities on your Tractivity system. This makes it much easier to make colleagues aware of important updates from your stakeholders. Tags can be used in any Activity, to notify any User in your current Project.
Creating a tag
To tag a User, type in the Notes field of an Activity. Insert an @ symbol. The field will then display a list of all Users and Teams in your current Project. You can filter the list by continuing to type the name of the User or Team you wish to add (as in the screenshot below). Users will be listed with their last name first.
Click on the User or Team you want to tag from the drop-down list.
When the Activity is saved, the User you tagged will receive a mention. If you tag a team, all Users within the Team will receive this mention.
Viewing mentions
Mentions can be found on your Tractivity home page. You will see a tab called Notifications, next to the “Today’s Activities”, “Reminders” and “Completed” tabs. This will list any Activities which you have been tagged in, as well as the Activity’s Account Handler.
Any Activities in bold are “unread” mentions. Click on one of these Activities, and next time you view the Notifications tab, this Activity will remain – but it will no longer be bolded.
