One platform, full SRM functionality and transparent pricing
Tractivity gives South African organisations the complete stakeholder management toolkit, from surveys and events to mapping and reporting, all within a single SRM licence with no paid add-on modules inside it. The Engage-360 public engagement portal is scoped and priced separately where a programme needs one.
Used in South Africa by Transnet and Lesedi Nuclear Services, and internationally by HM Treasury, the Welsh Government, NHS trusts and integrated care boards, National Grid and EDF.

What sets Tractivity apart
Some stakeholder management platforms price surveys, communications or events as separate modules, or route them through third-party tools, which means more suppliers to contract with and more places your stakeholder data lives. With Tractivity, surveys, communications and events are built into the core platform rather than priced as add-ons, hosted on secure servers with UK residency by default and other regions available, so your stakeholder record stays in one system instead of split across separate providers.
Surveys and newsletters
Send unlimited surveys and newsletters directly from the platform. Responses link to individual stakeholder profiles automatically, with sentiment analysis that categorises feedback and surfaces key themes, all without sending data to a third-party survey tool.
Event Management
Plan, manage, and track events including workshops, seminars, conferences, and Q&A sessions. Handle attendee registrations, link events to engagement objectives, and report on outcomes, all within one platform with no external tools required.
Stakeholder mapping
Map stakeholders across attributes such as interest, influence, relationship, sentiment, or add your own custom attributes. Create multiple mappings, generate visual charts that compare up to three attributes, and track how positions shift over time.
Transparent pricing for the complete platform
No tiers, no per-user feature gates within the SRM licence.
Your subscription gives you full access to the core platform, its integrations, and support service.
You simply choose the number of users and projects; the licence scales with those. The Engage-360 public engagement portal, where your programme needs one, is scoped and priced separately.

Trusted by teams across government, health, energy, water and rail
Organisations in energy, transport, education, construction, banking, healthcare, and the public sector rely on Tractivity every day.
We always receive good support from the Tractivity team with regards to developing new solutions to managing our stakeholder communications or just in response to more simple 'how do we?' type questions.
Drew Aspinwall
Newgate Communications | EDF Hinkley Point
It was key for our project that our stakeholder engagement was done in a way that was effective and comprehensive and allowed us to engage thoroughly. Tractivity has been highly effective for us and we would not hesitate to recommend the system.

We are very happy with the product. Tractivity being used at GWR will outlive my team and be considered a legacy project.

Frequently asked questions
The base licence is £9,495 per year, plus £500 per additional user. That covers the full SRM licence with no paid add-on modules inside the platform, and there are no caps on stakeholder records, communications sent or engagements captured. The Engage-360 public portal is scoped and priced separately where a programme needs one.
We quote in pounds sterling. There is no rand price list today, so if pricing in rand matters for your procurement, say so when you get in touch and we will tell you what is possible rather than guess.
Absolutely. Of the platforms we compare on our comparison pages, reviewed August 2026, several price surveys or communications as a separate module or a higher tier, and none publishes an event management module with RSVP and attendance tracking. Tractivity includes an uncapped survey module and full event management as standard. Survey responses feed directly into individual stakeholder profiles with sentiment analysis, and events can be linked to engagement objectives for complete reporting. You can manage workshops, seminars, conferences, and Q&A sessions, track registrations, and report on outcomes all from within the platform.
In a Tractivity deployment you are the responsible party and Tractivity is the operator. Section 20 of POPIA requires an operator to process only with your knowledge or authorisation and to treat the information as confidential, and section 21 requires a written contract covering the section 19 security measures and immediate breach notification to you. The platform was built to UK GDPR, which shares most of POPIA’s architecture, and the field-level control POPIA sections 26 to 33 require for special personal information operates at project, module and record level. The platform holds ISO 27001:2022 and Cyber Essentials Plus, and email configuration supports SPF and DKIM authentication with your own verified sending domains. Full detail is on our POPIA page and our security and compliance page.
Tractivity runs on Microsoft Azure, with UK data residency by default and European, United States and other regions available. There is no general data localisation requirement in South African law, but the National Policy on Data and Cloud pushes residency in policy terms and state-owned enterprises increasingly write in-country hosting into ICT tenders, so if it is a requirement of your tender raise it at the outset and we will confirm the available options in writing. Because surveys, newsletters and events are native to the platform rather than priced as separate modules, your stakeholder record stays in one system rather than split across separate survey, newsletter and events tools.
Every Tractivity subscription includes a dedicated UK-based Client Success Manager with support across South African and UK working hours, unlimited support time from our technical team, an onboarding and training programme, quarterly business reviews, access to our Help Centre with webinars and guides, an online helpdesk, a service SLA, on-site or remote training options, and invitations to workshops and events. Support is not metered or rationed; your team can reach out as often as needed.
Yes. Tractivity integrates with Microsoft Outlook through an add-in for logging emails directly to stakeholder records, Microsoft Teams, Power BI through scheduled exports today, Zapier for thousands of third-party applications, Dotdigital, Google Maps with a Land Parcels module for mapping stakeholders to land, and Google Places for international address validation, and it offers a documented public API for custom integrations. Mapolitical, which supplies political stakeholder data, covers the UK rather than South Africa, so South African political and traditional-authority stakeholders are held directly in Tractivity’s own records with their own hierarchies, membership and meeting history.
Not yet, and it is worth being straight about that. We hold a UK G-Cloud listing through the UK Government’s Digital Marketplace and Government Commercial Agency supplier status, which signals to a state-owned company or government buyer that we have been through public sector assurance before, alongside ISO 27001:2022 and Cyber Essentials Plus. Central Supplier Database registration, tax clearance and B-BBEE status are things we work through with you at the start of a bid. A foreign vendor with no South African entity scores nothing on B-BBEE, and where that weighting is material a South African partner or reseller arrangement is usually the answer. Raise it at the start of a bid rather than at evaluation.
On published material reviewed August 2026, no dedicated stakeholder engagement vendor has a single South Africa page. Borealis publishes country pages for the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, and its African case studies are Guinea, Madagascar and Chad, framed around IFC Performance Standard 5 rather than South African law. Jambo names seven countries it serves, none African, prices in US dollars and hosts in Canada, the US, Australia and the EEA. Simply Stakeholders has five hosting regions, none African. Nobody in the category writes about NEMA, the EIA Regulations, the MPRDA, Social and Labour Plans, King IV, B-BBEE or POPIA, with one exception: a single IsoMetrix blog post from June 2025.
The vendors with real South African weight, acQuire and IsoMetrix, are not stakeholder engagement vendors. Echo, launched in January 2025, is the only South African-built product in the space and is narrowly focused on EIA public participation for Environmental Assessment Practitioners.
On product, Tractivity publishes in-platform newsletters, consultation surveys with AI analytics, event management with attendee registration, and stakeholder mapping on interest, influence, sentiment, relevance and custom attributes. Jambo publishes a native Esri ArcGIS Pro integration and Tractivity does not. We host on Azure with UK data residency by default and other regions available, and no vendor in this category currently offers in-country South African hosting.
