GDPR and Public Consultation…here at
Tractivity, we have been working hard to ensure that our system satisfies the requirements of the new GDPR legislation, which comes into effect on 25
th May 2018. This new regime replaces the current UK Data Protection Act and will apply to any business or organisation which collects or uses data from EU citizens, regardless of whether they are based in an EU country or elsewhere. There are many areas which represent a strengthening of the rules compared to the current regime and we thought it helpful to provide a summary of the situation, particularly in so far as its implications for Public Consultation. We have therefore prepared a White Paper on the subject in conjunction with a top law firm, Mills & Reeve.
GDPR and Public Consultation. Are you Ready?
The White Paper looks at the key principles of GDPR, and highlights some of the key considerations which will need to be understood for consultors – the new rules for obtaining consent are particularly relevant. It concludes with a list of practical steps that consultors should take right now to ensure that you are prepared for the new regime. If you would like to receive a copy of the White Paper, please
