Simply Stakeholders is a stakeholder engagement platform from Darzin Software Pty Ltd, based in Chatswood, New South Wales, aimed at organisations formalising engagement management beyond spreadsheets and simple contact databases. It includes a stakeholder register, engagement tracking, sentiment analysis for every interaction, reporting and dashboards, a mobile app, and a Stakeholder AI feature set. The Plus plan also includes webforms and surveys, complaints management, commitments tracking, and geographic mapping. API access and offline mobile functionality are available on the Pro plan. The platform is designed for rapid deployment, ease of use, and a modern, intuitive user experience.

Simply Stakeholders publishes a modern interface, sentiment analysis and summarisation through its Stakeholder AI feature set, and setup figures of "days, not weeks" on its homepage and "as little as 2 weeks" for its Core plan on its pricing and support pages. It publishes no prices for any plan, so what a given configuration costs has to come from their sales process. Records, projects and workspaces are unlimited on every plan, and capabilities are gated by plan rather than sold as separate modules: webforms and surveys, complaints management, commitments tracking and geographic mapping start at Plus, and API access and offline mobile access are Pro.

For UK public sector buyers, four things are worth establishing early. On accessibility, their own published position is that WCAG compliance is in progress, with no version or conformance level stated and no accessibility statement or VPAT on their site. On certification, they publish ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2; we found no Cyber Essentials Plus, no NHS DSPT and no G-Cloud listing for Simply Stakeholders or for Darzin Software when we checked the Digital Marketplace in August 2026. On support, they publish channels and a dedicated Customer Success Executive from the start, but no support hours or time zones for any region, so ask what cover you would get in UK hours. On AI, their AI Policy of 6 July 2026 states that customer data is not used to train any AI models; their privacy impact assessment, however, is stated against the Australian Privacy Act 1988 rather than UK GDPR.

Accessibility and procurement-grade compliance

For UK public sector organisations, accessibility, compliance and procurement assurance are often assessed before functionality is even considered. Public bodies are required to meet accessibility obligations, and most procurement frameworks require suppliers to provide evidence of WCAG conformance. Simply Stakeholders' own published position is that WCAG compliance is in progress; it states no version and no conformance level, and it publishes no accessibility statement and no VPAT. It publishes ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2. Tractivity currently meets WCAG 2.2 Level A, with Level AA on track for 2026, and publishes an accessibility statement setting out both. Note that the UK Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 require WCAG 2.1 Level AA, so ask every supplier on your shortlist, including us, for its published conformance level and its roadmap in writing. Tractivity is listed on G-Cloud 14 as a Crown Commercial Service supplier and holds ISO 27001:2022 and Cyber Essentials Plus, and is audited annually against the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit. For engagement teams that need sign-off from procurement, IT, information governance and accessibility colleagues, these are the documents they will ask for.

Welsh language support is available for organisations operating under the Welsh Language Standards. Simply Stakeholders publishes "multiple languages" on every plan, and its own comparison page names English, French, Spanish and Portuguese; it publishes nothing on Welsh, so a Welsh public body should ask them directly.

Tiers versus all-inclusive functionality

Simply Stakeholders operates a tiered subscription model with three plans, Core, Plus and Pro, on a per-user model billed annually. Core includes in-app and email support but not telephone support, and a Service SLA is Pro only. AI sentiment analysis is included in Core. Webforms and surveys, complaints management, commitments tracking, geographic mapping, and email and SMS outreach start at Plus. API access, offline mobile access, a named account manager and quarterly account reviews are Pro.

They publish no prices for any plan, and their pricing FAQ states that the annual fee depends on the plan, any add-on modules and the number of users, so total cost of ownership can only be established through their sales process. That FAQ does also state that one-time setup fees are included in the plan price, and that a service fee applies if you need their help extracting your data at the end of a contract. Because licensing is per user and capability is gated by plan, the practical question for a buyer is which tier the features they need sit in, and what that costs at their user count.

Tractivity includes all core engagement functionality as standard, including stakeholder mapping, consultation surveys, complaint and issue tracking, communications and newsletters, event management, sentiment analysis, AI-generated summaries and more than 150 pre-built and configurable reports. There is one product, not three: no feature tiers, no paid add-ons within the SRM licence, and no charges for onboarding, training or support.

Pricing is published openly, starting from £9,495 a year and including all core functionality, with additional user licences at a published rate. Procurement teams can see the price basis and what is included before the first conversation, and engagement teams do not have to decide which parts of the engagement process they can afford to enable.

Onboarding depth and data confidence

Simply Stakeholders publishes two onboarding figures: "up and running in days, not weeks" on its homepage, and "as little as 2 weeks" for its Core plan on its pricing and support pages, supported by a dedicated Customer Success Specialist covering data migration, initial project design and template setup. Setup fees are included in the plan price.

Tractivity's onboarding, setup, configuration and tailored training are included at no additional cost, with implementations typically completed within four to six weeks. That period covers data migration and validation, project and permission configuration, and role-based training delivered by UK-based Client Success Managers, with a minimum of 20 hours of onboarding support included as standard. Support is unmetered after onboarding, so training can continue as new users join and requirements change.

AI data privacy

Both platforms offer AI-assisted sentiment analysis and summarisation, and both publish a position on model training. Simply Stakeholders' AI Policy, published 6 July 2026, states that customer data is not used to train Simply Stakeholders, Microsoft, OpenAI or any third-party AI models, and that this is contractually enforced through Microsoft's Data Processing Addendum, with per-field AI controls, a 48-hour Microsoft retention limit and regional processing. Its privacy impact assessment is stated against the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Tractivity's AI Sentiment and AI Summarise features run in Tractivity's own Microsoft Azure environment, with Azure OpenAI acting solely as a data processor, and client data is not used to train or fine-tune AI models.

For UK information governance teams, the question is less whether a supplier trains on your data and more which regulatory framework the assurance is built around, and who is available to work through it with you. Tractivity contracts in the UK, holds ISO 27001:2022 and Cyber Essentials Plus, is audited annually against the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit, and has a UK-based team who will complete your DPIA with you.

Geography, support and responsiveness

Simply Stakeholders is headquartered in Chatswood, New South Wales, and also publishes a London address and a UK and EU phone number. It offers a UK Azure hosting region, so UK data residency is available, and it shows UK customer logos, but it names no UK public sector client on its site. What it does not publish is where support is delivered from, or the hours it operates. For a team running a live consultation, handling a stakeholder complaint or working to an FOI deadline, that is worth establishing in writing before contract: ask which office answers your ticket, in which hours, and what the escalation path looks like at 4pm UK time.

Tractivity is UK-based, with named client success and technical support teams working UK and EU hours, unmetered and uncapped, and a minimum of 20 hours of onboarding support included as standard. The platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure with UK South as the default region and EEA and other regions available on request. It is designed to support the regulatory environments its customers work in, from Ofgem and Ofwat submissions to NHS consultations and statutory consultation obligations under the Gunning principles.

For organisations in regulated environments, that means UK data residency by default, and a UK team to answer information governance questions, including certified practitioners through the UK Consultation Institute.

Scale and suitability

Simply Stakeholders positions itself for complex stakeholder landscapes and shows enterprise logos including Anglo American, Sasol, Ausgrid, Statkraft and Drax, alongside government customers in Australia and North America. Its FAQ describes supporting tens of thousands of contacts across concurrent projects. Its published case studies are drawn from Australian and North American programmes; none is a named UK organisation. So the question for a UK buyer is less about scale than about context: whether the platform's assurance profile, commercial model and support arrangements line up with UK procurement, UK accessibility duties and UK regulatory reporting.

Tractivity supports both small teams getting started and organisations running complex, high-profile engagement programmes. National Grid runs more than 430 users on the platform, and EDF Energy has recorded around 30,000 stakeholder issues with a 100% response rate across the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C consultation programmes. SSEN has grown from 15 users in 2018 to more than 200 today, and Anglian Water manages more than 13,000 stakeholders through Tractivity as part of a £10 billion investment programme.
