What this session is about
What makes life difficult for those charged with managing an extensive stakeholder base?
Are problems situational? The inevitable consequence of conflicting interests and objectives?
Or are they the result of changes that have disturbed long-standing relationships and affected the level of trust and confidence between organisations?
Or might they boil down to individual styles and approaches making personal relationships difficult or even impossible?
Disentangling these – and other destabilising factors requires objective analysis and a motive to improve. But is it always possible. And what happens if relationships break down irretrievably?
In this Webinar, we will focus on the challenges that many organisations encounter with difficult relationships, and hear from stakeholder management colleagues willing to share their experiences. Maybe we can also hear from people who have been regarded as difficult – or who have been affected by difficult situations.
How does it look from the other end of the telescope?
Are they being unreasonable?
Or are there systemic issues that could be addressed?
The aim will be to encourage professional problem-solving and securing the optimum ongoing stakeholder relationships.
