How Tractivity works with Outlook and Microsoft Teams

Tractivity connects to Microsoft Outlook through an add-in and a shared mailbox, and to Microsoft Teams for meetings and virtual events. Emails, calendar items and meetings are logged against the right stakeholder automatically, so the whole team works from the same record without copying or forwarding.

Outlook add-in. See which senders are already in Tractivity, add unregistered contacts with one click, and transfer emails, attachments and meetings to the stakeholder record.
Email from Tractivity. Emails written in Tractivity can be sent through Outlook and are still logged against the stakeholder.
Shared mailbox. Connect an existing project or enquiries mailbox, so inbound and outbound mail is managed in Tractivity and linked to the right stakeholder, organisation or enquiry. Templated replies cover recurring questions.
Microsoft Teams. Create and manage Teams meetings from Tractivity. For virtual events, Teams joining details appear automatically on each attendee's confirmation.

Software Updates

Tractivity systems are all upgraded on a regular basis, based on the feedback from our customers and developments that are brought by our expert development team.

Our large feature releases happen every 3 to 4 months, and smaller bug fix updates happen between these. The releases are always completed outside of working hours, usually starting after 7pm, and clients are always informed when their system will be unavailable.

Can we use Tractivity on a phone or tablet? Yes, through any modern browser on a phone or tablet. Tractivity is cloud-based and mobile-responsive, so there's nothing to install or keep updated, which suits field teams logging engagement on site. There isn't a separate native app.

Can Tractivity manage community drop-in sessions and consultation events? Yes. Tractivity’s Events module handles open events the public can register for online, and invitation-only events for contacts already in your database. You can record venue capacity and accessibility needs, track who has confirmed, send reminders to anyone who hasn’t replied, and print sign-in sheets and delegate lists. Each event sits in the stakeholder’s engagement history, alongside the issues and feedback you log.

What does Tractivity's AI do? Tractivity includes two AI features. AI Sentiment tags each interaction as positive, negative or neutral, so you can see how stakeholder positions are changing. AI Summarise condenses large volumes of feedback so your team can act on it quickly. Both run in Microsoft Azure, are switched off until you choose to use them, and customer data is never used to train AI models. AI is included in your subscription.

Does Tractivity integrate with Outlook? Yes. Tractivity connects to Microsoft Outlook through an add-in and a shared mailbox.
